About Us

Founded in the 1950s and established in 1972 by Mdm Chan Peng (Mrs Leong), United Uniforms Manufacturers Pte Ltd is a family business that provides students with affordable, comfortable, and high-quality school uniforms. With nearly 70 years of experience under our belt, we have served over 60 organisations and have currently expanded to 4 locations across Singapore, including our original headquarters in Toa Payoh.

Ordering our time-honoured school uniforms has never been more convenient. Parents can visit one of our 4 branches or our pop-up stores in schools to be measured for the appropriate size. Alternatively, measure at home using our handy sizing guide and get the uniforms delivered to you via our online store. Our stores accept cash, cheque, PayNow/PayLah!, and FAS, while our online platform accepts credit card payment.

We have long-standing ties with our suppliers with whom we work closely to manufacture our bespoke designs into affordable yet superior garments. This enables us to custom-make uniforms for students with specific needs such as those with skin problems and larger uniforms for plus-sized students. Please call or visit our headquarters at Toa Payoh to see how we can help you.

Additionally, as part of our charitable initiative, United Uniforms has also donated excess uniforms to the needy in developing countries.

Our History

While serving as a nurse post-World War II, Mrs Leong worked part-time as a tailor for a wedding gown manufacturer. As demand for her adept skills grew, she founded 聯合校服 (United Uniforms). She made uniforms and peak caps for the police force, and her children assisted her in packing and deliveries.

What began as a humble venture beneath her home in Jalan Isnin continued to grow. In 1972, United Uniforms was officially registered as a private limited company, and business operations began in Toa Payoh.

Today, this family business spans 3 generations. Together with her children and grandchildren, the vivacious Mrs Leong continues to serve her customers. Despite being one of the oldest in the industry at the age of 85, she continues to make a difference in the lives of students.
